• Use a long-range lighter (BBQ lighter).
• A wooden wick must be cut very short, about 5mm from the surface of the wax, since it is the wax that rises by capillary action in the wick that keeps the flame lit.
• Be patient, leave the fire on the wooden wick until the wick catches fire and a little longer, a good 10 to 15 seconds.
• Sometimes you have to relight the wick 2 or 3 times, that's perfectly normal!
• Soy wax is the fuel for the wick.
• Let the candle burn for at least 45 minutes, until the melted wax covers the entire surface.
